Giant shows off its new competition gravel bike

In the context of Unbound Gravel, Giant has shown on Instagram what appears to be a new gravel bike with a more race-oriented design, alongside several prototypes of Cadex. All signs point to a future Giant Revolt Advanced SL, a possible 2027 model which, according to the available information, would bet on a lighter, more aggressive frame clearly aimed at competition.

Compared with the current Giant Revolt Advanced Pro, the prototype features a lower front end, more streamlined tubes, no fork mounts, and no internal storage compartment in the down tube. It also includes compatibility with SRAM UDH, which eliminates the adjustable dropouts of the current version. In addition, the bike appears ready for XC tires of at least 50 mm, and all the mounts seen use a 1x drivetrain.

The other new development is in the components: new gravel Cadex wheels with carbon spokes, deeper rims, and hubs built similarly to the Cadex Max 50. Also shown are integrated stems and handlebars from Cadex, as well as a new D-Fuse seatpost with a round profile for added comfort.

The brand has not confirmed a launch or pricing, but the fact that the frame already appears on the UCI approved list suggests that its official unveiling could be near.
